To celebrate the opening of Section 2 of the Meatpacking District's High Line, AOL commissioned the massive inflatable art installation, Rainbow City by FriendsWithYou, featuring interactive installation pieces ranging from ten to forty feet in size. The installation pieces were inspired by toy-like geometry and minamilist design, and the 40-piece install sits adjacent to the High Line’s outdoor summer-long activity zone. Now that KAWS's 16-foot Companion is over at the Standard, this is a definite spot to check out if you're into cool stuff. Check it out at west 30th St. and 10th Ave until July 5th.
