On Friday night, artist Johnny Ryan opened a show of recent work at the Mishka store and gallery. As a peer of Robert Crumb and Vaughn Bode, Johnny is an O.G. who helped add a bit of "adult" feel to the comic world. The new work falls right in line with his classic style: provocative animations, questionable content, and sexual references.
