In his first presser with his new team, Marshawn Lynch swore a few times and said he wanted to play for the Raiders before they moved to Las Vegas.

Marshawn Lynch reiterated that he was retired about a thousand times for the year that he actually was. Then he announced that he's coming back. So what changed? Well, the Oakland Raiders announced that they were going to move to Las Vegas.

That's according to sources that said...oh wait, scratch that. That actually came from him during a press conference on Tuesday, his first with his new team, during OTAs.

"Maybe them staying [in Oakland] would have, it probably wouldn't have been so big, me wanting to play," he said. "But knowing that they were leaving, a lot of the kids here aren't probably going to have an opportunity to see most of their idols growing up in their hometown [anymore]. Me being from here, continuing to be here, it gives them an opportunity to see someone who actually did it from where they're from, and from a team that they probably idolize."

The Raiders are currently set to play in Sin City by 2020.

Also, during the same press conference, which ran for like four or five minutes, Lynch said "shit" a few times before saying something that likely made the people broadcasting it live on NFL Network start to regret that decision.

Asked by a reporter what he thought about joining a good team that's "ready to take the next step," Lynch began his response by saying how he has the whole city behind him. Then he added a little something else:

"The way we feel about where we're from and how we represent where we're from so hard is because we know what the struggle is and how we get down. So every home game that I get to come to this motherfucker I'm probably going to be riding with the whole town (...) This is actually, I'm born and raised, bred, pissing in them hallways and running down them alleyways, I really did that right here. And now I get an opportunity to play here."

You can see his whole answer starting at about the 2:15 mark above.

On top of that, here it is in a video with some beeps that's less likely to be flagged and removed by the NFL:

At that point someone from the organization said "Time for one more question," which sounds about right.

Bet this is one time where they actually would've just preferred the old "I'm just here so I won't get fined." Oh well.
