This past weekend Sean Waltman, better known as X-Pac, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport. According to a police report, the 44-year-old wrestler had quite the stash on him, as cops reportedly discovered he was carrying 38 capsules containing amphetamine or methamphetamine, 56 capsules of THC, three chocolate weed bars, and over $700.

Waltman was subsequently charged with possession with intent to sell after the cops said that "the large quantity of pills plus the large quantity of U.S. currency are associated with narcotics sale." He was released shortly afterward after posting bail, which was $35,000 because police discovered he had an outstanding warrant issued for a past DUI arrest.

According toTMZ Sports, originally law enforcement officials believed he was trying to board a flight to a wrestling event in the United Kingdom where he would then sell the drugs. They further reported that Waltman was flagged after a drug sniffing dog caught a whiff of what he was carrying.

Apparently Waltman was on a Custom and Border Patrols watch list, likely due to his past drug-related arrests. As for his side of the story? Well, he appeared to hint that he'll be talking about it in detail on Wednesday:

But he jumped the gun a bit and talked about it to TMZ, who reported on Tuesday afternoon that Waltman told them the pills were not meth, and instead were medicine for a yeast infection. Furthermore, despite admitting to once being "one of the worst meth heads ever," he stated that he's certain lab tests will vindicate him this time. "I know the truth will come out," he said. "In the meantime, oh what a mess, man."

Waltman, who was one of a handful of wrestlers that became a bit of a personal hero after teaching '90s kids to tell authority figures to "suck it," has had a number of well-publicized issues during his career, including an instance where he went to rehab after shooting up meth before a match.

If it is meth, and he's convicted of possession with intent to sell, he could face up to four years in prison.
