Dwight Howard walks off court after Hawks eliminated from playoffs.

Does Dwight Howard believe in bad omens? If so, the universe sent him one hell of a sign on April 28.

As any Atlanta Hawks fan will tell you, April 28 was the day that the team was eliminated from playoff contention after losing 115-99 to the Washington Wizards in Game 6. As Howard would maybe confess, it was also the day he got his car towed. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that the 12-year NBA veteran was pulled over in his 2016 Audi Rs7 at 2:06 a.m. after an officer spotted the vehicle going 95 mph in a 65 mph zone with a black SUV traveling right behind.

While the black SUV was being driven by Dwight's security guard, the real concern came when the police ran Howard’s driver license and tag number through the National Crime Information Center. It turns out the vehicle had a suspended registration and there was no insurance to be found. When informed of the officers' discovery, Howard was described as being "confused," maintaining that he did have insurance but failing to provide proof when asked.

Howard's car was eventually towed. He received a verbal warning for his suspended registration and speeding, but was issued a ticket for not having insurance. It was just the beginning of a brutal weekend for Dwight. The Hawks were bounced from the playoffs on Friday, and Howard made waves the following day when he complained about his playing time and role on the team.
