Kristaps Porzingis Talks Knicks, Travel, and Becoming a New Yorker

We sat down with Kristaps Porzingis to talk Knicks, travel, and becoming a native New Yorker.

The 2016-2017 NBA season has been yet another dismal campaign for the New York Knicks. The franchise is beset by poor performances, a bad record, unending controversy, dissatisfaction among their ranks, and, as of last night, a strange incident involving Knicks legend Charles Oakley.

But if there is one bright spot for the team—and trust us, they need one right now—it's their second-year center Kristaps Porzingis. The rising star is averaging 18.6 points per game, to go along with 7.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks. If only the team's win-loss record could match his quality of play, but, hey, Knicks gonna Knick.

Just before All-Star break, Complex's very own Speedy Morman caught up with Porzingis fresh off the set of his Delta Air Lines commercial for their Fly Like A Pro sweepstakes

We talked about his favorite cities to visit, traveling in coach, and whether he's become a full-fledged New Yorker.
