Ladies and gentlemen, we have officially reached peak Knicks. As the sinking ship known as the New York Knicks played in Madison Square Garden against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, former Knicks star Charles Oakley was seen getting into a hostile altercation in the stands.

Things escalated when Oakley repeatedly shoved someone, and could be seen telling the person, "Get off me!" ESPN's Ian Begley is reporting that Oakley was trying to go after Knicks owner James Dolan.
ABC's Eyewitness News later reported that Oakley had punched three security guards, which would likely explain why he was charged with three counts of assault.
After Oakley was escorted to the tunnel, Knicks president Phil Jackson tried to calm Oak down.
The Knicks released the following statement regarding the altercation.
Oakley was released from NYPD custody late Wednesday night, and he claimed that reports about him yelling at or going after Dolan were not true. "I was there for four minutes," Oakley told the New York Daily News. “I didn’t say anything to him. I swear on my mother. They came over and wanted to know why I was sitting there. I bought the ticket. I said why do you guys keep staring at me. Then they asked me to leave. And I said I’m not leaving."
Oakley also did an interview at a restaurant in NYC about the altercation and said that it won't stop him from supporting the Knicks:
