With the New England Patriots' improbable come from behind victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, Tom Brady has not only firmly placed himself in the G.O.A.T. discussion, but his five championship rings have planted him alongside former defensive lineman/lineback Charles Haley. So, how did Haley feel about possibly getting some company in the 5 Super Bowl Ring Club?
Once Brady officially became a member of the club, Haley wasn't shy about congratulating Tom on the milestone. But the five-time Pro Bowler issued a challenge for the Patriots star quarterback: win a sixth title.
With Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels at the helm for the near future, Brady is capable of getting that sixth ring as soon as next season. The only thing that could possibly stand in the way of Brady hoisting another Lombardi Trophy this time next year is Father Time. By the time the 2017 season rolls around, the two-time NFL MVP will be 40 years old.
As any former legend can attest to, Father Time has been and will always be undefeated. But until then, let the good times roll.
