Does the NBA check Pornhub for All-Star votes? If so, one Bucks fan cast a vote for Giannis Antetokounmpo there.

How bad do you want your favorite NBA player to take part in the 2017 NBA All-Star Game?

Over the course of the last few weeks, NBA fans have tried to prove their love for their favorite players by taking to social media to namedrop the players along with the hashtag #NBAVote in order to try and get them onto the court in New Orleans on February 19. Here are just a few examples of successful #NBAVote tweets that have gone out:

Some fans have also tried to think outside the box—and in some cases, wayyyyyyy outside the box—to get their favorite players votes. One Pornhub member in particular, who goes by the name "dapitis" and hails from Greece according to his Pornhub profile, has gone as far as to use the comments section underneath of a Pornhub video to try and get his guy, Giannis Antetokounmpo, a vote. A screengrab of this comment that he left on a video ended up on Reddit on Thursday before making the rounds on Twitter on Friday:

There are only two problems with this: One, we’re pretty sure the NBA doesn’t check Pornhub for votes (duh). And two, "dapitis" spelled Antetokounmpo’s last name wrong!

He’s obviously not the first person to ever do this. And there’s also this factor that we all need to keep in mind:

But c’mon, if you’re going to go to this great length to cast an #NBAVote for a guy, at least spell his name right!

Oh well. The good news here is that Antetokounmpo probably won’t miss this vote. He’s currently third overall in the Eastern Conference in the All-Star rankings (behind only LeBron James and Kyrie Irving), and he should end up on the All-Star team once the voting process is over. No thanks to Pornhub.
