Collin Sexton of Pebblebrook High School isn't just a top 10 player in the nationβhe's one hell of a trash talker. The type of trash talker that would put a smile on the face of guys likeΒ Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan.Β
During the 44th Annual Culligan City of Palms Classic at Florida SouthWestern State Collegeβs Suncoast Credit Union Arena, Sexton took a break in the middle of racking up 33 points toΒ repeatedly tellΒ Memphis East High head coach Penny HardawayΒ that his son Jayden, who left Coral Gables High in Miami, Florida to play for his father,Β is "trash."Β
Aside from being an absolute beast when it comes to talking smack, the teen who has already verbally committed to Alabama backs it up with some stellar play. According to MaxPreps, Sexton is averaging 28.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per game in his junior year.Β In addition to going after the father of an opposing player, Sexton has no issue with challenging someone on the court.Β
'Bama fans will need another year before Sexton makes his way to the Crimson Tide. In the meantime, it's clear that when he does make it to the NCAA, the Mableton, Georgia native will become one of the most polarizing figures in college basketball. Whether you love him or hate him, Collin is going to be a lot of fun to watch. Β
