Cam Newton, the Panthers' most visible player, enjoys giving back to the Charlotte, North Carolina community. He even started his very own food truck at the top of this NFL season just so he can "be closer to the people."  But Cam loves making kids' dreams come true more than anything.

On Tuesday, the reigning NFL MVP showed how much he adores children by dressing up in a quasi-Santa Claus suit that reflects his flamboyant fashion taste and called himself "Santa Cam." He went to four different locations to donate lots of cash, food, and gifts to kids at local Charlotte schools.

As seen in the clip above, Cam talked with grammar school kids at the Barringer Academic Center and played a game called "Cam Says" with the youngsters. He donated a check for $30,000 for a backpack program for needy children. He also brought along his teammate Leonard Johnson, who dressed up as Cam's "elf" for the event.

The next stop on Santa Cam's season greetings trail was to drop off $10,000 worth of food to Charlotte's Silver Mount food pantry.

After the food pantry was the Bethlehem Center, which provides after-school care for low-income children. Some of the kids asked for big gifts from Santa Cam, including $2 million and a Lexus.

The last place that Santa Cam stopped at was Dick's Sporting Goods, where he took kids on a shopping spree while riding a bike.
