Washington fans may hate to hear it, but their team's newest superstar Josh Norman is also a cowboy, as we’ve learned in go90’s new, off-beat sports comedy-cum-talk show, Here’s the Rub. In a bizarre interview, the Washington Redskins cornerback sits in a stable and dons a classic cowboy hat while opening up about his transition to the 'Skins from his former team, the Carolina Panthers; his mention in Jay Z’s “I Got The Keys” verse; and his beef with Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.—all to the whimsical sound of...a horse pissing in the background.

Norman is unphased by the equine interruption (probably because he has 13 horses of his own), but why he sits through this awkward interview anyway is beyond us. However, it may have something to do with the show's charismatic "Russian" host: Nikolai Popov, a character from the mind of actor Andrew Santino.

Each episode of Here's the Rub, features Popov hosting his guests in spas, stables, and other unlikely settings. Through his, shall we say, unorthodox interview techniques, Santino manages to extract some dirty secrets and unexpected confessions out of some of the most famous athletes and celebrities.

Is this the new First Take? Check out the full episode above to judge for yourself. In the meantime, keep an eye on go90 for the newest episodes of Here’s The Rub.
