Many people from the sports world have chimed in on the reality of Donald Trump being the unlikely president-elect. Now Rick Pitino is offering his take on how Trump needs to move forward before he is sworn into office in January.

In the clip above, the legendary Louisville coach says that Trump needs to apologize to the American citizens, politicians, and various ethnic groups that he's insulted over the course of his campaign.

A transcript of Pitino's statement is below:

“He’s our elected president, and you can protest all you want, he’s not resigning. Look, I’ve got problems with him like everybody does. Everybody in this room has problems with him, and I think the only way to remedy a problem is to find a solution.

Pitino's statement, it must be said, is surprisingly diplomatic for someone famous for giving people the middle finger.
