Here's an NFL fan fight story that's extremely messed up.

According to the Baltimore Sun, a Ravens fan is in critical condition at a hospital in Baltimore following a fight with a pair of Raiders fans during the Oakland/Baltimore game on Sunday. The altercation between the three men reportedly took place at M&T Bank Stadium towards the end of the game. The Ravens fan, identified as Joseph Bauer, sustained a serious head injury after he fell and hit his head on concrete. His sister Susan told the Baltimore Sun that doctors have told their family that Bauer has a 30 percent chance of surviving the injury.

Bauer was reportedly at the game with his wife and another couple when he was involved in a verbal altercation with Raiders fans Scott Smith, 30, and Andrew Nappi, 31. The altercation soon turned physical and Bauer was allegedly knocked to the ground where he hit his head. It caused subdural hematoma, which is a condition that results in blood pooling around the brain.

Smith and Nappi were arrested a short time after the alleged incident and charged with first and second-degree assault.

"My brother is in critical condition on life support over a football game," Susan Bauer told the Baltimore Sun. "You just don’t expect that you would go to a football game and someone would put you in intensive care. I just can’t even believe it’s happening."

The Ravens released a statement about Bauer on Monday:

"Our sympathies and prayers go out to Mr. Joseph Bauer, his wife Sharon and the rest of his family. We have reached out to the family and have received a report on Mr. Bauer’s condition. We are deeply concerned about this assault and are learning as much as we can about it. Safety for our fans is a top priority. Confrontational and inflammatory behavior is never tolerated and is unacceptable at Ravens home games."
