Mississippi Rebels quarterback Chad Kelly was not pleased at the sight of his younger brother Casey getting a late hit during a Buffalo, New York high school football game on Friday night.
In the video clip above, Kelly, the nephew of Buffalo Bills legendary quarterback Jim Kelly, displayed support for his brother when he ran from the stands and onto the field during the second quarter of a Timon vs. St. Joseph's High School game after witnessing unnecessary roughness. Kelly had to be held back by multiple people once he got onto the field—he appeared neither to have thrown punches, nor attack anyone in particular—but a huge brawl then ensued that began with a huge pile of players on top of his brother Casey Kelly.
The Buffalo police decided to call the game because of the melee. No arrests or injuries reportedly occurred during the incident.
Kelly's Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze released a statement about the incident on Twitter.
Chad can be somewhat temperamental, to say the least. In December 2014, Kelly was arrested following a threat to Buffalo nightclub bouncers that he was going to "get my AK-47 and spray this place" after the club reportedly refused to let him in.
