Just like that old Nike billboard of LeBron James that stated "We Are All Witnesses" next to the Cavaliers' Quicken Loans Arena, King James wants to bear witness to the Indians break the 56-year Curse of Rocky Colavito and finally win their third world title.
On Wednesday (Oct. 12), James stated to reporters that he was more than proud of the Indians advancing to the ALCS to face the Toronto Blue Jays. James also stated in the clip below that he couldn't make it to Game 1 due to the Cavaliers preseason game against the Bulls, but was definitely going to make an effort to see Game 2 at Progressive Field.
LeBron brought his teammates along to see the Tribe beat the Jays at home 2-1 on Saturday evening. Also, Indians pitcher Andrew Miller personified excellence as he threw for 17 strikeouts in over seven innings. Even legendary ace Pedro Martinez stated that he had never seen any pitcher dominate a playoff game like Miller.
Indians stepped within two wins of a World Series berth, which would be their first since 1997 if they advance. LeBron went absolutely nuts with his teammates, hoping that the Tribe follows in the Cavs' footsteps to win it all when the World Series start on Oct. 25.
And fans got to see their champion Cavaliers and screamed at them like they were the world's greatest rock band.
"Believeland" just got more faith to build on tonight. Game 3 of the ALCS is Monday night, Oct. 17, at 8 p.m. ET in Toronto.
