Falcons (3-1) destroyed the Panthers (1-3) on Sunday 48-33 with much help from wide receiver Julio Jones, who had the game of his life. Jones ran like a runaway freight train all over their defense to the tune of 300 receiving yards. That amount is what you usually see for quarterbacks in the passing yards category on a decent production day. So when is the last time that you've heard of a wide receiver putting up those kinds of numbers? Much less with decent defense from a cornerback?

It's fair to say that the Panthers defense was non-existent against Jones. Redskins cornerback and former Panther Josh Norman feels like this is a situation where karma got the best of Carolina after they rescinded his franchise tag, refused to offer him a long-term deal, and made him become a free agent in April before he signed with Washington just three days later.

Understandably, being shown the door by the team he went to Super Bowl 50 and cried for after their loss to the Broncos with didn't sit well with Norman. So to kick his former team while they're down after their loss to the Falcons, Norman, who would've covered Jones if he were still playing for Carolina, threw some salt on the wound by referring to the ubiquitous Kermit the Frog meme by saying, "I'm just gonna sit my tea on that one."

Sometimes, pettiness and revenge is bliss.
