Andrew Wiggins and the upstart Minnesota Timberwolves seem to be headed in the right direction. With new head coach and president of basketball operations Tom Thibodeau leading the way, the Wolves look like an interesting League Pass team and perhaps even a playoff contender, even though they play in the loaded Western Conference.

In addition to Wiggins and newly signed free agent Brandon Rush (who came over from the Warriors), the Wolves also have young talents Karl-Anthony Towns, Gorgui Dieng, Ricky Rubio, and Zach LaVine. Not a bad roster.

With the Timberwolves' Oct. 26 season opener approaching, Fox Sports caught up with Wiggins and asked: if you could posterize anyone in the NBA, who would it be?

"My boy JoJo Embiid from the Sixers," Wiggins said, referring to third-year Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid. "I never got him [as teammates] in college; time to get him now."

It might seem ridiculous because Embiid is a 7-foot freak athlete, but let's remember that Wiggins has a 44-inch vertical leap. He is very familiar with posterizing larger opponents, like Utah's 7-foot-1 center, Rudy Gobert.

He is fearless in the lane.

So, what do you say, JoJo? The 76ers travel to Minnesota on Nov. 17. If Wiggins charges at the basket with a head of steam, will you get out of the way or try to go full Mutombo?

The NBA world waits to find out.
