Steph Curry doesn't believe in excuses. The Warriors leader and two-time reigning NBA MVP understands that if he's playing in a game while injured, then he is sacrificing his necessary recovery time to get the Warriors in the victory column.

After the Warriors lost Game 7 of the NBA Finals to the Cavaliers, Curry needed some time to mentally recover from the anguish felt beyond just playing through his injured his ankle and knee that he suffered during the playoffs. While on the second stop of an Under Armour-sponsored tour in China, and after finally revisiting the last two minutes of Game 7, Curry opined about the loss in an exclusive interview with ESPN reporter Darren Rovell on Saturday.

Here's what Curry stated in the video above on how the Game 7 loss has helped him moved forward:

Curry acknowledged that he played through his injuries in the NBA Finals, yet refuses to use them as a valid excuse for why the Dubs lost the series.

Curry also gave details about how Kevin Durant joining the Warriors will help the squad towards another championship run.

"I honestly don't think there could be any more pressure than we had last year. Coming off a championship, winning 73 games and being expected to win another [title], obviously it didn't happen."

But Curry recognizes that there will be an obvious variation to the team's chemistry from the past two consecutive championship-caliber Warriors teams.

"It's going to be a different vibe because it's a different team and different dynamics with different players with KD joining us. ... We have probably six or seven new guys."

When asked about the Warriors being labeled as the villains of the NBA per the addition of Durant, Curry believes the opposite.

"All that narrative around our team, how people view us, doesn't really matter to us," Curry said. "We are who we are, and we're championship contenders going forward."

Regardless of the KD coming to Dub Nation, this tweet from Curry below shows that is all that matters at the end of the day to make another title happen.
