Jeremy Lin is set to appear in Marvel Comics' Totally Awesome Hulk series in December.

Assuming the role of Dr. Bruce Banner will be a Korean-American named Amadeus Cho, who is a "genius," but also "ridiculously cocky," according to the character's creator Greg Pak. When Amadeus reaches a low point in his life in the 13th issue, he will cross paths with Lin. “He’s getting notoriety, people recognize him," Pak toldamNewYork. "He eventually ends up meeting Jeremy and the two of them team up for reasons that will be revealed soon."

When Linsanity was sweeping New York City during the 2011-12 season, Pak was in the middle of it, and it eventually inspired him to pair Jeremy with Amadeus in the comic. “I followed him everywhere. I just love the guy. And at a certain point, I just found myself thinking, ‘Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if the biggest Asian-American superhero met the biggest Asian-American sports star?’" When Pak approached Lin's team with the idea, the Brooklyn Nets point guard was sold once he saw the Hulk's hair.

This appearance in the Totally Awesome Hulk series is just another thing to add to the list on what has been an great summer for Lin. In addition to signing a three-year, $38 million contract with the Nets, the 28-year-old appeared in an anime-inspired Space Jam spoof which featured Jeremy as Michael Jordan.
