If we had to pick a fictional football coach to deliver a pep talk to one of our favorite NFL teams, Denzel Washington's character in Remember the Titans would be right up there at the top of the list. Al Pacino's character in Any Given Sunday and Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights would be up there, too, but Denzel proved he knows how to get a group of guys fired up to go out and win games in RTT.

It's not all just an act, either. Denzel has made trips to Cowboys' training camp twice over the last two years, and during his most recent visit in early August, he delivered a post-practice pep talk to Dez Bryant, Ezekiel Elliott, and the rest of the Dallas players. He appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night and told Jimmy Kimmel all about the pep talk he delivered. He also told him that he's been a Cowboys fan since back in the 1960s and 1970s when "Bullet" Bob Hayes was playing running back for the team. "A black guy who was fast," he said.

So what did Denzel say during his pep talk? Well, it wasn't exactly what the media reported after the fact. But his basic premise was that the Cowboys don't have any time to waste. And while his pep talk might not end up producing the intended results—the team is relying on rookie quarterback Dak Prescott at the moment due to Tony Romo's back injury—it sounds like he did what he could to inject some energy into the Dallas players.

Watch Denzel talk about his pep talk in the clip above and then head here to see what else he had to say on Kimmel.
