Trent Richardson has made over $20 million dollars in his NFL career, but that sounds like it all would've been gone in an absurdly short amount of time if the spending habits of his family and friends hadn't been curbed. In fact, the past year of his life seems like a textbook example of what they warn you about at those NFL rookie seminars.

Sitting down with Shelley Smith for ESPN's E:60, Richardson talked about the vultures his family and friends who blew $1.6 million of his money between January and October of 2015.

First he revealed that he could see the leeches sucking away his money about as well as he could see holes in NFL defenses (which is to say terribly) telling her "I finally just looked at my bank statement, and I was just like, 'Where did this come from? Where did that come from?' And my guy was sitting there telling me, 'Man, we were telling you.' I know he was telling me, but that’s just like telling a kid to stop running in the hall. They’re going to still do it when you turn your back."

From there, he outlined just what the hell they were blowing his money on including: 11 Netflix accounts and eight Hulu accounts in his name (he watches neither), several unexplained purchases from Amazon.com, and bottle service and VIP packages at clubs (though Richardson says he doesn't even drink).

He also notes that he only spent $300 on himself in two weeks, telling them "Y’all are trying to live a lifestyle that I’m not even living, that y’all think I should be living."

The outrageous spending led to him cutting off his brother Terrell from a $100,000 salaried "assistant" position.

Previously, Richardson divulged that he got stuck paying over $60,000 for five funerals, bought cars, and paid for vacations to Disney World that people still complained about.

Cutting off the hangers-on appears to have been a good idea, especially considering that he was just waived by the Ravens on Tuesday.
