Stephen Curry was the first unanimous MVP in NBA history this year, and his peers validated that selection today by naming Curry their MVP in the Players' Voice Awards. These awards are voted on by the players. You might remember last year the players named James Harden their MVP, while Curry won the actual award (which is voted on by sportswriters).
King James also received praise from his peers, winning The Player You Secretly Wish Was on Your Team. Not sure why this is a secret, but the reasons he was chosen seem clear: he's fun, he's team-oriented, and he basically guarantees if you roll with him you're headed to the Finals. Shout-out to James Jones, man.
Curry also claimed Clutch Performer and Toughest to Guard. James also won Best Social Media Follow. Guess he is pretty nice with it, for a player of his caliber,Ā on TwitterĀ and Instagram.Ā
