Gregg Popovich is ubiquitously known as a short-spoken guy with an occasional pugnacious approach to dealing with the media. But for what it's worth, you can count on him to respond to questions by keeping it 100 ever time.

With all this talk of NBA super teams like the Warriors, Cavaliers, or the Heat when LeBron was part of the Big 3 in Miami from 2010 to 2014, it's somewhat mind-boggling that the Spurs hardly ever come up on fan's lists even after they beat the Heat 4-1 in the 2014 NBA Finals for their last franchise title. Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, sharp-shooter Danny Green, and two-time Defensive Player of the Year and 2016 MVP runner-up Kawhi Leonard to top it off. Why aren't they up there for most NBA fans?

That doesn't seem to matter one bit to Pop, though. At the USA Olympic men's basketball team practice on Monday, Popovich was questioned by the Bay Area News Group about how he feels concerning NBA fan's not labeling the Spurs as a super team. He was quite glib in his reply:

"Naaaah. I just count the championships," he stated. Let him count them out for you in this clip below:

Makes sense. Now that Tim Duncan is retired, he's got one-third of the team's Big 3 (with Ginobli and Parker) now gone from his squad. But still, the numbers on the boards and banners in the rafters don't lie. Great answer, Pop.
