LeBron James Returns to Social Media and Addresses Critics in Lengthy Instagram Post

He’s baaaaaaack.

At the beginning of the NBA Playoffs every year, LeBron James "activates" what he calls "Zero Dark Thirty-23" and stays off social media for the duration of the postseason. Then, at some point, he makes his return to social media once the dust settles at the end of his team’s postseason run.

This season, he didn’t wait long to get back into the mix. Less than 24 hours after the Cavaliers beat the Warriors in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, LeBron returned to social media on Monday with not one but two Instagram posts.

LeBron’s first IG post featured a video of him hugging the Larry O’Brien Trophy after Game 7:

And while that post would have been great in and of itself, his second post was even better and featured him taking aim at those who said he had "lost a step." In his photo for the post, he wore the Kermit sipping tea hat that’s been on his head for most of the last two days and directed his caption at his doubters:
