The USMNT and Colombia football team squared off in the third-place match at Copa América Centenario held at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday. It was the USA's only chance at redemption in the tournament after being shut out 4-0 by No. 1 world-ranked Argentina in the semifinals.

At the 30:48-mark during the first half of the USA vs. Colombia match, Colombia's Carlos Bacca scored a goal off a head-butted assist from the right side of the USA goal. Colombian announcer Javier Fernández (aka 'El Cantante del Gol") immediately screamed what's likely to be one of the longest "GOALLLL!" shouts that you'll ever hear in your entire life.

That's pretty good compared to this Romanian announcer who still holds the world record for the longest goal-shout in history that stretched for a whopping 68 seconds.

Colombia took the lead into halftime 1-0. In the second half, Team USA came within goal range several times, but was denied by the strong defense from Colombia goalie David Ospina. Here's an example of Ospina at the 51-minute mark swatting this kick from USA's Clint Dempsey in the top right corner of the goal post.

USA fans vented by tweeting their angst about tying the match before full-time expired.

One USA fan even got petty with some Colombia fans in the stands.

In the end, USA would lose 1-0, and took fourth place in the tournament. For consolation, Crying Jordan couldn't be more proud of their efforts, though.
