Jordan Rodgers, who you may know as Aaron Rodgers' little brother, will be one of the contestants vying for the prize of a brief relationship with a woman on the new season of The Bachelorette. Rumors about the possibility of Rodgers making an appearance on the show have been circulating since March.

The 27-year-old former Vanderbilt quarterback was one of 26 men who made the final cut and had their "cast" profiles listed, along with a bunch of background questions, on ABC's website.

Rodgers generously lists himself as a "former pro quarterback," presumably leaving out the "practice squad" and "Canadian" parts on purpose (Rodgers spent time with the NFL's Jaguars, Buccaneers, and Dolphins in 2013 and 2014 before playing for the CFL's BC Lions).

He also lists his favorite actor as "Vince Vaughn, [because of his] unbelievable monologues." He says the wildest thing he's ever done in the bedroom is "try to hang a TV on the wall without directions or a stud finder." And according to him, his three best attributes are his "humor, energy, [and] empathy." Some other fun facts about Jordan that will (hopefully) make you think something other than "Hey, it's Aaron Rodgers' little brother!" when you see him:

  • Dream job: "Food critic, so I could eat at all the best places all the time."
  • Biggest phobia: "I have a fear of heights, but I’ve been skydiving and I love challenging my fears. Bring it on!"
  • Hates when a date: "Doesn’t want to eat in front of me."

You can catch Jordan (and 25 other guys who clearly don't stand a chance!) when the first episode of the new season of The Bachelorette airs on Monday, May 23. Will this season's The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher be able to turn down the chance to hang out with Aaron Rodgers' girlfriend Olivia Munn on the regular? Stay tuned to see.
