13-minute concerts don't come cheap.

The University of Georgia's college football program did their annual spring game this past Saturday in front of 93,000 fans with absolutely nothing better to do. They also scraped together a pregame concert at the last second, finalizing a contract with Ludacris just two days prior to the event. In order to secure his services they had to pony up dough on par with a scholarship ($65,000), along with a ton of other items. Here's the list they likely made some graduate assistant go round up in order to get him to appear:

$5,000/minute, some condoms, and some AA batteries. Not a bad haul for a 13 minute show.
