As Tom Watson approached the 18th green on Friday, it all started to sink in for everyone. This was going to be the last time we would see the 66-year-old compete in a Masters. The Augusta crowd showed their appreciation for Watson with a standing ovation while the six-time PGA Player of the Year struggled to fight back his emotions.

Jus gave Tom Watson a standin O in my living room Well deserved Such an honor to watch greatness from the day I knew what golf was U go Tom!

Even though Lil Wayne didn't attend the Masters, he still expressed his gratitude for Watson by giving him a standing ovation at home.

As SB Nation pointed out, this isn't the first time the rapper has used the social media platform to chime in on a PGA topic. Three years ago, Wayne blasted the Masters after then-14-year-old Guan Tianlang was penalized for slow play.
