Lakers Reportedly Looking To Trade Nick Young This Summer

Lakers see their future with 20 year-old rookie Russell, and not the 30 year-old Young.

Lakers guard Nick Young has had a tough week. After accepting the apology from rookie teammate D'Angelo Russell posting a Snapchat video of Young revealing that he cheated on his fiancée Iggy Azalea, the Lakers are in a bind trying to move forward to repair the team chemistry for next season.

Russell was isolated from the team since the fallout, and needless to say, many on the team are not really feeling that dude right now. But according to Los Angeles Times reporter Mike Bresnahan, the Lakers are looking to show Young the front door this summer— not Russell.

The Lakers tried to trade Young, 30, each of the last two seasons as his production dropped. There were no takers. They will likely try to find a home for him again this off-season, which won’t be easy with a player who didn’t even get off the bench in eight games last month.

Swaggy P may not only be losing the trust of his girl, but also losing the gloss of playing in Tinseltown once the NBA Finals end. That's gotta double-down on the hurt.
