The Detroit Pistons weren't going to win the 16 games necessary to be the last team standing in the NBA Playoffs but, still, they sure as hell didn't want to get swept in four to exit without winning any. That's what happened last night after Reggie Jackson clanged his chance to be the buzzer-beating hero for a day (though he claims a non-call on defender Kyrie Irving screwed him out of a chance to win the game at the free-throw line). While Jackson immediately turned to the nearest ref to complain, Irving headed to the stands to say sayonara to the Pistons faithful. We will say if there's one fan base that can handle a little trash talk it's Detroit. After all, sarcastic or not, somebody saying "bye-bye" pales in comparison to getting punched in the face by Ron Artest.
