Wednesday is the end of the Kobe era. That may be heartbreaking to some. And joyous (especially to those of you who've gotten sick of the farewell tour) to others. But either way it's over so, whichever camp you're in, watch him while you can. You got two more days.
This morning Kevin Durant, who will play Mamba tonight in OKC in the penultimate game of his career, revealed that he also played a (very small) part in the end of Michael Jordan's career, by being one of 20,173 in attendance for MJ's final home game when he was a 14-year-old growing up in Washington D.C. Despite the fact that the Wizards got beat pretty badly in that contest, it's a memory Durant still appears to treasure 13 years later.
Like KD you too can still go to Kobe's last home game. Provided you have an extra $700-$25,750 laying around (and who doesn't?) it seems like a no-brainer.
Or, alternative option, just watch it at home/DVR it.
