Anthony Joshua is preparing for his next battle.

Less than two weeks after defeating Charles Martin to become IBF heavyweight champion of the world, the golden boy of British boxing has announced he'll make his first title defence at the O2 Arena on June 25th.

Speaking on Twitter, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn says tickets will go on sale next week with an opponent announced soon after.

There's a shortlist of three opponents for Joshua's next fight.

Speaking earlier this week, Hearn said the shortlist for AJ's next opponent is down to three names – and none of them are Tyson Fury or David Haye:

"The IBF put out their new rankings today and we have to box someone in the top 15 of those rankings.

Time to go to work, champ.
