Karim Benzema has revealed he won't be playing for France at Euro 2016.

The Real Madrid striker hasn't been selected for his country since he was caught up in a sex tape blackmail scandal where his France teammate, Mathieu Valbuena, was the victim.

While France manager Didier Deschamps hasn't revealed which players will and won't be selected for the European Championships this summer, Benzema took to Twitter to confirm he won't be considered for selection:

"Unfortunately for me and for all those who have always supported me, I will not be selected for our Euro in France."

Benzema has been in the form of his life for Real Madrid.

Benzema has scored 27 goals in the 32 games he's played for Real Madrid and France so far this season. He's just seven goals short of having the most successful goalscoring season of his career.
