Mike Krzyzewski Says He Lied About Lecturing Oregon's Dillon Brooks After Duke's Sweet Sixteen Loss

On Thursday night in Duke's blowout loss to Oregon in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament, Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski spoke to Oregon's Dillon Brooks after the game when both teams exchanged "good game" sportsmanship pleasantries. It appeared that Coach K took some extra time to lecture Brooks because he didn't like the Oregon forward sinking a 35-foot jumper as the shot clock expired towards the end of the game. 

Brooks told the media after the game that Krzyzewski took umbrage to that shot, and Coach K told him that he was "too good for that." Coach K vehemently denied to the media that the lecture to Brooks ever occurred.

Well, Krzyzewski changed his tune and admitted today that he actually did lecture Brooks. After all, it was on camera for all to witness. He apologized for his denial today:
