Remember how bad the fight between Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 was at Bellator 149? Well, believe it or not, it just got even worse, even though the fight has been over for almost a month now.

According to MMA Fighting, Kimbo failed a pre-fight drug test before the event by testing positive for banned substances. It’s unclear what banned substances Kimbo was reportedly using prior to his fight with Dada 5000, but uhhhhhhh…if Kimbo was using some kind of performance-enhancing drugs before that fight, he should probably get a refund. It didn’t appear as though they did much to help him.

Kimbo wasn’t the only fighter who tested positive for banned substances at Bellator 149, either. Ken Shamrock did, too. He lost to Royce Gracie by first-round TKO at the event, and he was actually appealing the result of the fight because of a low blow that he took prior to his knockout, but it’s unlikely that his appeal will lead anywhere now due to the failed drug test.

Neither fighter has commented on the MMA Fighting report yet, but wow. Is it safe to say Bellator 149 was a complete disaster?
