Tyson Fury is targeting a world heavyweight title showdown with Anthony Joshua later this year.
The WBA (Super), WBO and IBO heavyweight title holder is set to face Wladimir Klitschko this summer in a rematch from their bout last year but should Fury come through that fight still holding the belts, he's said a fight with British boxing's golden boy, Anthony Joshua, is what he wants next.
In a series of tweets earlier today, Fury outlined who he wants to fight next. Joshua is facing Charles Martin for the IBF's version of the world heavyweight title in April and should he win, Britain will have two world champions – setting up an almighty unification clash.
Fury has called a fight with Joshua the "biggest British fight ever".
The good news is, Eddie Hearn – AJ's promoter – seems to agree.
If both British boxers are successful in winning their next fights, a unification fight would surely be one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing on these shores. Wembley Stadium beckons.
