Tiger Woods’ Agent Rips Report About How His Back Has Made It Difficult for Him to Sit Down

Tiger Woods’ back may or may not be in terrible condition right now.

Tiger Woods’ back continues to give him all kinds of problems. Er, at least, that’s what golf reporter Robert Lusetich said earlier today in a series of tweets:

I'm told #TigerWoods condition worsened. He can't move well; painful to sit. Sits in car with seat fully reclined. No forseeable return. Sad

Tiger Woods’ agent Mark Steinberg says Lusetich isn’t telling the truth, though. Lusetich has spent time around Tiger in the past, and it doesn't seem like he would just make up something as serious as this. But Steinberg ripped his latest Tiger report in a statement he released this afternoon.

“The tweets that appeared this weekend about Tiger’s health are ridiculous and absolutely false,” Steinberg said. “It’s reprehensible that every few months someone makes something up and it’s treated like a real story. Tiger continues to work on his rehabilitation and we will have an accurate update at the appropriate time.”

Lusetich responded to that statement with a couple more tweets that were directed at his followers:

Yes, that's it. Steinberg has a history of being fully transparent https://t.co/dHfHj9VycI

So who’s telling the truth here?

Either way, is there anyone out there who actually believes Tiger has much left in the tank regardless of how his back is holding up? It’s a sad situation right now no matter how you look at it.
