Nothing was the same for Kristaps Porzingis.

The rookie sensation learned the hard way over the All-Star Break that he will never be just another anonymous 7-foot-3 basketball player while vacationing with his family.

The Knicks forward headed for the warmth of the Bahamas before New York resumes its season Friday and Porzingis, according to the New York Post, revealed he was hounded by autograph and picture seeking vacationers that kind of, low key, ruined his trip.

“I was in a regular hotel and everything was together like [in] the restaurant and there were a lot of people coming up to me,’’ Porzingis said after the Knicks’ first post-break practice. “I appreciate all the love and everything. But it was hard just to relax."

Porzingis, who is averaging 13.9 ppg, 7.7 rpg and 1.9 bpg and a contender for Rookie of the Year honors, came to the realization that his days of mingling with the normals and going unrecognized are officially over.

“This just showed me that I’m not a normal person anymore, especially when there a lot of people who recognize you, a lot of people who want to take pictures because I’m tall,’’ Porzingis added. “I can’t really hide it. That’s a problem. I have to change plans from now on.’’

Johnny Manziel Las Vegas disguises will not suffice for Porzingis who is among the tallest players in the league. When a reporter suggested he just start wearing sunglasses and a hat to go incognito, the 20-year-old Latvian sensation responded: "And then cut my legs off."
