Earlier this year, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly traded running back LeSean McCoy to the Bills, even though McCoy was one of the biggest offensive weapons Philadelphia had last season. McCoy then proceeded to take shot after shot after shot at Kelly in a series of subsequent interviews, even going as far as to say that he was traded for racial reasons.

Kelly apparently hasn’t let McCoy’s comments phase him, though, and this week, he revealed that he would “love to shake LeSean’s hand” when the Bills visit Philly to play the Eagles this week. So it sounds like a reunion between the two might take place.

Er…or not.

McCoy was asked about what Kelly said during a conference call with reporters from Buffalo today, and his response proved that he’s still pretty pissed off about the way his final days in Philly played out.

“Listen, man, Chip can’t shake shit,” he told reporters. “At all. Nothing. He knows this…I can read between the lines.”

Pressed for further comment on why McCoy didn’t take any calls from Kelly in the days and weeks after he got traded, he said, “He can’t say shit.”

And when pressed even further, he seemed confused as to why anyone cares about his frosty relationship with Kelly.

“Why do you want me to shake that guy’s hand?” he asked reporters, before ending the call. “What’s the big issue?…I gotta go, man. I’ll see y’all Sunday.”

Well then! Sunday should be…fun. Or something.
