Earlier this afternoon, we told you about some things LeSean McCoysaid about his former coach Chip Kelly during a conference call with reporters today. He’s still upset with Kelly for trading him in the offseason and said that he’s not going to shake hands with him when the Bills play the Eagles this weekend.

On this afternoon’s episode of ESPN’s NFL Live, Herm Edwards was asked about what McCoy said and he lost it. After attempting to calmly explain why he can’t stand how selfish some of today’s players are, he flipped out live on the air and went off on the way players like McCoy behave.

“I’m done!” he yelled. “I’m done. I’m done all this. You ask me, ‘Coach, you want to go back and coach?’ No! I don’t want to coach this! This ain’t professional football, man. It ain’t about you. It’s not about you anymore. The player think it’s all about them. It ain’t about them. It’s about the game of football!”

Edwards was then asked if he thinks McCoy feels so comfortable talking openly about Kelly because of the way his current head coach Rex Ryan handles the media.

“I don’t know that so much,” he said. “I just think that we give players passes because of what we do for a living. Media, we love this. This hurts me when I see players do this! And I’m part of the media!”

And after saying that, Edwards explained why it “hurts” him to see the way certain players put their egos above the good of their teams.

“It hurts me that they put their own identity, their own egos in front of the team,” he said, "because this is a team game, man. It’s always been that way. It’s about the guys in your locker room. It’s about the guys not having to stand there and ask the question, ‘Did you hear what Shady said about your coach?’ They ain’t talking about football! They’re talking about nonsense. That ain’t the game of football. If I didn’t work here, I would walk off this thing right now because I’m tired of talking about this mess with these players.”

Hold up. Did Edwards just top his "You play to win the game" rant?! Watch him go off in the video above and judge for yourself. The craziness begins at around the three-minute mark.
