Greg Hardy  was accused of beating his former girlfriend Nicole Holder last year, and although the domestic violence charges against him were eventually dropped after Holder refused to cooperate with prosecutors, the photos that surfaced thanks to a Deadspin investigation make it clear that an ugly incident occurred.

Lawrence Taylor, however, somehow believes that we don't have enough evidence yet to draw a proper conclusion.

Speaking before an appearance at Empire City Casino in Yonkers, New York, Taylor defended Hardy's second chance with the Cowboys, in part due to claiming that we don't have all of the facts.

"I think they needed to give him another chance because it’s not clear what happened,” Taylor said, via the New York Daily News. “It’s not really 100% clear what happened. So listen, I think they need to give him a chance.

“I think he is going to make the best of that second chance because I’ll tell you what, he could have been screwed. A lot of people have been screwed in this league. But he got a do-over, and you got to do the best you can. You got to make the best you can with that do-over.”

That's obviously a ridiculous stance to take, but considering all that went down during Taylor's time in the NFL, it shouldn't really come as too much of a surprise.
