It hasn't been a great season for ligaments and Achilles tendons. The latest example is Joe Flacco.

The Ravens have had a tough year; they got just their third win of the season today over the Rams. Flacco was under center for a 16-13 win. However, he was playing with a torn ACL. Heroic, but that torn ACL will keep them out for the rest of the season.

Joe Flacco tore his ACL and is out for the year.

The news comes right after Justin Forsett suffered a season-ending arm injury during a run.

Matt Schaub is Flacco's backup. There's no pressure since the AFC North is already well out of the Ravens' grasp.
