In what might be the oddest video we've seen all year, former Green Bay Packers great Brett Favre sent along his congratulations to Peyton Manning on breaking his regular season passing yards record while hanging out in a tree.

Dressed in all camo with what appears to be some kind of crossbow hanging behind him, Favre addressed his 71,838 regular season passing yard mark being surpassed when Manning hit Ronnie Hillman on a four-yard pass in the first quarter in a brief video posted on the Denver Broncos Facebook page.

"Peyton, I'm in a tree stand. Yeah, you've interrupted me again," Favre begins. "I’m very happy for you. Congrats. But now you have to take them all away. Good luck, man. You’re the best."

Who knows what Favre is hunting (deer? pheasant? the nude pics that he's probably sent to thousands of cell phones?), but we're surprised he's not hanging out in a pair of Wrangler jeans, throwing touchdowns to his buddies in the mud like the good old days.
