The Chicago Bears won their first game of the season today when they beat the Oakland Raiders 22-20. Quarterback Jay Cutler returned after missing the past two weeks with a leg injury, and threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns, one of those to tight end Martellus Bennett

Bennett was so full of joy after the game, and not having to play with Jimmy Clausen anymore, that he couldn't help but pile on the hyperbole about his quarterback's triumphant return.

is Jay Cutler too often criticized? Martellus: "They threw rocks at Jesus, & Jesus was an excellent guy who did a lot of awesome stuff."

Jay Cutler is definitely not a guy you look at and think yourself, "Man, I bet that dude is an excellent person who has done some awesome stuff." No, he's the guy you see at a fancy restaurant in Chicago and say to your wife "Oh look babe there's the Bears quarterback who throws a lot of interceptions and is married to that chick from Laguna Beach!" I mean, look at him.

Though, before that, Bennett apparently compared Cutler to Keanu Reaves' character from "The Replacements," so, he's all over the map. Winning is some type of drug, man.
