If you have been following college football closely this season, or late to the discussion on this year's Heisman hopefuls, LSU running back Leonard Fournette has been the favorite to win that trophy this December.
When his team faced South Carolina today, Fournette was on track to make history as the tenth player in FBS history to reach the 1000-yard rushing mark in the season's first five games. Going into today's game, he needed only 83 yards to reach that plateau.
So to start the second half, the Tigers quarterback gave Fournette the ball. He plowed his way up through a gap in the Gamecock defense as if Moses parted the Red Sea for him. No one from South Carolina could even think about stopping dude as he went for an impressive 87-yard run, which you can see here:
