According to reports, the first ever Legends World Cup will take place in Mexico in 2017, bringing some of football's biggest heroes out of retirement for one tournament only.

ESPN are reporting that the semi-competitive tournament will see 12 nations participating – including England, Holland, France, Germany and Brazil – and players aged between 35 and 45 will be invited to represent their nations.

According to ESPN, names already approached to play in the tournament include Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Kluivert, Clarence Seedorf, Michael Ballack, Juan Sebastian Veron and Zinedine Zidane.

As if it couldn't get any better, all proceeds are going to charity.
