Blue Jays Outfielder Jose Bautista Hits Three-Run Homer, Unleashes Bat Flip to End All Bat Flips

A whole lot of frustration was let out there.

Following a strange, weird, utterly ridiculous top of the 7th inning where the Texas Rangers took a 3-2 lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 5 of the 2015 ALDS after the umpires ruled this play as a throwing error by catcher Russell Martin

Who gets the RBI? #rangers #bluejays #alds https://t.co/pqI4zsNlcD

While it appears that the ball struck the bat/hand of Shin-Soo Choo, the umpires didn't change their call and the Rogers Centre absolutely lost it, throwing everything within sight onto the field. As karma would have it, the Jays evened the score in the bottom half of the inning following three errors by the Rangers. Then, Jose Bautista came to the plate with two on base and delivered the knockout blow.

Did you see that?! Don't ask us what! You know exactly what we're talking about! DID YOU SEE THAT BAT FLIP?!?!

The whole world saw it!

Also that’s the bat flip by which all others will be judged.

In a win or go home game, it would've been a shame to see the Jays get bounced from postseason play on a controversial call. Joey Bats, though, came to the rescue and punctuated the moment with one of the most over-the-top bat flips you will ever see. But, you know what? It was totally worth it.
