What is he talking about here?

Everyone is still trying to figure out what in the world Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy was thinking the other day when he decided to say that he’s planning on coming out “guns blazing” this weekend now that his four-game suspension is over. Hardy was, of course, arrested last year after he allegedly beat up an ex-girlfriend, threw her on to a pile of guns, and threatened her life. So it was a stupid thing for him to say, and many people have called him out for doing it.

While speaking with reporters, Hardy also mentioned that he’s looking forward to playing against the Patriots because of Tom Brady and, more specifically, his wife.

“I love seeing Tom Brady,” he said. “You seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game.”

Dude…what?

Reporters asked Cowboys owner Jerry Jones about Hardy’s controversial comments and, gosh darn it, he tried to make some sense of them. But uhhh…he didn’t do a very good job. In fact, he ended up looking bad while defending Hardy.

On the “guns blazing” reference: “Well, you’re not allowed to have guns on the football field. We all know that’s just a way of expressing yourself. I hope his guns are ablazin’.”

OK, so from what we can gather here, Jones is on board with the “guns blazing” comment Hardy made (because duh, you can't actually bring guns on the field!), and he thinks Gisele's good looks somehow illustrate that Tom Brady is a great guy. Got it. Now stop talking!
