Alex Rodriguez put Jimmy Fallon on the spot Thursday.

Appearing on "The Tonight Show," the Yankees slugger made Fallon declare his sometimes ambiguous sports loyalties.

"I'm a Ranger fan, I'm a Seattle fan and I'm a Yankees fan," said Fallon.

Fallon, who grew up in Upstate New York, has been a staple at New York sporting events over the years, including frequently sitting  behind home plate at Yankees games with "SNL" producer Lorne Michaels. But that's not stopping him from supporting New York's other team.

"I'm a Yankee fan rooting for the Mets now," said Fallon.

The Mets trail the Royals 2-0 in the World Series with Game 3 Friday.

Fallon cleared up any perceived animosity between the two while taking credit for Rodriguez's impressive 2015 season in which he slugged 33 home runs after missing all of 2014. The comedian also asked A-Rod what advice he would give to his younger self.

"If you ever do a photo shoot, don't kiss any mirrors," he said.
